Hey I’m Shan! I'm super passionate about health and wellness, and I truly believe that movement is the best medicine! But even more than that, I believe exercise should be fun, empowering, and something you actually look forward to.

My love for Pilates began as a teenager when I used clinical Pilates to rehab hockey injuries and improve my performance. After experiencing the incredible benefits firsthand, I was hooked! I went on to complete my Physiotherapy Degree in Auckland before heading to Melbourne, where I worked as a Musculoskeletal Physio and deepened my Pilates practice.

Then came my next adventure - Canada! There, I discovered a whole new passion for Yoga, completing my 200hr Vinyasa Training and certifications in Buti Yoga & Primal Flow.

Next stop? London! But then... #Covid happened. So, I asked my parents if I could turn their garage into a mini Pilates studio. One thing led to another, and I serendipitously found myself here, at Movement Pilates - founded by the incredible Sacha Hughes (quite the upgrade from the garage!).

It has always been my dream to create a welcoming, uplifting space where people feel encouraged and empowered to move in a way that feels great for them. My goal is simple: to help you feel stronger, more confident, and fall in love with movement.
